An award winning blog?

Woo-hoo! We have just found out that we were awarded a Liebster award by our friends Bella and DiDi. Bella and DiDi are two very wise poodles answering questions on various topics to everyone that writes to them. Go check their blog if you haven’t read it yet!

This is what we have been told about the award:

“The origins of the Liebster Blog award are somewhat unclear but the general consensus is that it originated in Germany, Liebster meaning favourite or dearest, to showcase bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Upon accepting the award the recipient can then pass it on to five more blogs of note. A way of introducing other bloggers to the blogs you enjoy.”

Thank you sooo much! We are really chuffed to bits and want to send all our followers a slobbery kiss and a hug :0)

And we would like to pass the award onto the following pals:

- Bassas blog – the most beautiful Caucasian Shepherd Dog living in Georgia, she is the most observant dog we have ever come across, sees things from different perspective and looks after her pet cat Barnaby really well.

- Lexi and Jasper two Great Danes from New Zealand writing about their adventures and what their humans get up to.

- Life with Lilly – a beautiful Great Dane girl and her week-by-week photo journal of how fast she is growing.

- For the love of my dogs – we think the name of the blog says it all – dogs, dogs and more dogs. Rescue, adoption and own puppies… A must read!

- Cwtch Corner – a blog about some of our favourites – photography, our friend Max a blue Great Dane and, thrown in the mix, Austrian adventures of Max’s humans.

Hope you like the blogs we’ve chosen to highlight, we love them and thank you again for giving us the award!

That’s right, you’ve heard it here first. Our friends Max – a blue Great Dane and Henry, also a blue Great Dane and us were chatting on twitter. The four of us thought our barking, howling and whining is so good that surely we could start a band… wait for it – Danes Aloud. And Henry’s mum kindly put this poster together.

Now we just have to arrange some practicing sessions and soon we will be touring in the park near you. Watch this space!

Danes Aloud band

And here we are – Max on top, Henry on the left and us two on the bottom right.

If you are on twitter too, make sure you say hi to Henry @greatdanehenry and Max @greatdanewales and of course us too @greatdaneinfo
